The Asia Pacific Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (the APO) is a collaborative partnership of interested governments, international agencies, foundations, and researchers that promotes evidence-informed health system policy regionally and in all countries in the Asia Pacific region.

APO Medium Term Strategy 2024-2030

Overview

The Medium Term Strategy (MTS) 2024-2030 outlines APO's vision to strengthen health systems and promote evidence-informed decision-making across the Asia Pacific region. The strategy focuses on five core areas: health equity, climate change, digital health, human resources for health, and primary health care. It aims to foster collaboration among policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders, emphasizing the generation, brokering, and management of knowledge. The MTS also prioritizes capacity building and sustainable funding to expand APO’s impact and drive transformative change in health systems over the next six years.
